Our court date is tomorrow, Friday, Dec. 10th, at 2 pm. That will be 6 am at home. Please pray that we will find favor with judge and we will be named Elijah's legal parents! Thank you so much for your continued prayers! We would not be this far without them, I know that for sure.
Also, please pray for the Hannon family. Their court date is at the exact same time as ours. :-)
So, here is the tentative timeline:
Fri, Dec. 10th - court
Sat. Dec. 11th - Day 1 of 10 waiting period
Tues. Dec. 21st - Day 11 and we can pick up the court decree and start the paperchase (birth certificate, tax ID code, bank accounts, passport, etc.)
5 business days for the passport
2 business days at the embassy (closed on the 31st)
HOME!
Please continue to pray that we will be home by the end of the year!
And the news we just shared with the kids via Skype is that Pat will be home on Sunday! We were going to have him do the embassy stuff on Monday and then fly home on Tues, but instead decided to fill out the paperwork from home and mail it back. Pray that all works out too.
Ok, time to iron clothes for tomorrow and get to bed. I'll post as soon as I can after court!

Jill, make SURE that he FED EX or UPS the paperwork to the Kiev PO box that we sent dossiers to, with your name and the name of your facilitator on it. Don't send it to the Embassy, and don't use USPS!! No matter WHEN they say that they will get it there. I can tell you more if you want to hear the story, email me. LOL YAY for court!! Praying all goes smoothly!!
